Under the motto ‘Democratic – Diverse – Sustainable’, the 2nd Austrian Library Congress will take place from 26-28 March 2025 at the Austria Center Vienna, reflecting the current changes in our world.
Current political and social developments call for a prudent approach in the world of work, teaching and education as well as in the private sphere.
Academic and public libraries play a central role here. They are not only knowledge hubs, but also active players in our society. With their technical know-how, administrative expertise and wide range of information, they help to develop solutions and establish new services. In addition, they promote cooperation and thus offer important added value for society.
