Description
The Living Planet Symposium 2025 (LPS25), held every three years by ESA, is one of the world’s premier events in Earth observation. With the climate crisis intensifying, the focus of LPS25 will be on transitioning from “observation to climate action and sustainability for Earth.”
The symposium provides a platform to present and discuss the latest scientific findings and applications based on satellite data, while reviewing the contributions that these data and technologies have made—and can further make—in addressing environmental and societal challenges. Innovative products, services, missions, and initiatives will be showcased, with the overarching goal of demonstrating how science, society, policy-making, businesses, and the economy can all benefit from space-based observations.
